Hello little
reader! Welcome to Joyce¡¯s Cozy Book Nook, a cozy corner for little readers.
I'm so glad you're here. Are you ready for a cozy story?
The Three
Little Kittens. Originally a Mother Goose nursery rhyme. This is a gentle
retelling adapted just for you.
The three
little kittens were having some fun.
They ran and
played in the morning sun.
They tumbled
and chased a ball of string.
But soon they
heard the dinner bell ring.
"We've
lost our mittens!" cried each little kitten.
Their mother
frowned and shook her head.
"No mittens,
no pie," is what she said.
The kittens
cried and felt so bad.
They lost their
mittens and made mom mad.
They searched
and searched and what a surprise.
They found their
mittens and got their pie.
They said,
"We're sorry." and gave her a hug.
She smiled and
gave them a cuddle so snug.
With warm
little paws and full little tummies, they snuggled up tight, all cozy and
comfy.
Even kittens
forget things now and then, but saying I¡¯m sorry makes things good again.
